Our structured program includes time out to assist with volunteer activities, a matched giving program and team based commitments of time and fundraising.

2025 Commitments

In 2025, WARR HUNT proudly partnered with The Big Umbrella Foundation to take part in their Feed Melbourne initiative – a team-building experience that combines purpose with impact.

Our team joined forces in a commercial kitchen to prepare restaurant-quality meals using rescued ingredients and fresh produce from TBU’s Urban Farm. Under the guidance of professional chefs and volunteers, we explored zero-waste cooking and composting techniques while contributing to a socially conscious cause.

The Big Umbrella operates without government funding and relies on corporate support to deliver its ARM (Awareness, Response, and Meal) program. By volunteering our time in the kitchen, WARR HUNT helped support their mission to build a more compassionate and connected community—one meal at a time.

We have sponsored young men and women into the KOTO Program since 2014. In 2023, we continued our commitment with another 2-year sponsorship of a young woman from Vietnam.

KOTO is the first social enterprise in Vietnam, providing positive, permanent change for at-risk and disadvantaged youth in a 2 year hospitality training programme that incorporates both vocation training and life skills.

2024-2025
In 2024 and 2025 we made significant financial donations to WEHI's Panreatic cancer research, where researchers goal is to find more effective treatments to improve outcomes for people with pancreatic cancer. Our decision to support this research was following number of WARR HUNT team members having lost family and close friends to this disease.

Sam Hunt climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with his team of 4 raising more than $40,000.
