My Short Story
I joined this profession back in 2018 during the middle of the Banking Royal Commission, an eye-opening experience as a university student. I saw the widespread abuse of trust present in many large financial institutions. I was fortunate enough to be working in a boutique firm at the time, where I developed a strong understanding of the financial planning process. Being able to forge close relationships with clients and helping them achieve their goals was something I found very rewarding, and I quickly knew this career path would be the perfect fit.
Over the years I witnessed a gap in how advice was being delivered and believed there bad to be a better way to truly serve clients.
In 2023, I was drawn to WARR HUNT by their fiercely independent and holistic approach to managing financial affairs of clients. This combined with a robust evidence-based investment philosophy aligned to my core values and something I believe sets the standard for our profession.

Matthew commenced with WARR HUNT in May 2023.
Prior to joining, Matthew gained sound experience progressing from Client Services to an Advisor role in a financial planning firm.
Away from work Matthew enjoys going to gym, travelling and spending time with family and friends. He also supports Collingwood.
