2025 Christmas Wrap Up
Anthony Warr

This week I sat down a number of times to write this message and found it difficult to complete. Following the Bondi terror attack on the Jewish community and our Australian way of life, I was lost for words. As the week past I came to appreciate that, even in the darkest and hardest moments, we witnessed remarkable stories of courage, community and gratitude. These acts of bravery and kindness remind us of the strength we find in one another.

Once again, in 2025 we are faced with uncertainty.  And with this comes the risk of emotional decisions about our finances. As always, we remain focused on guiding you through financial challenge and keeping you on track with the plan designed for your ideal life.

2025 has been a year of rising to challenges, building resilience, celebrating milestones and rewarding commitment. I’m thrilled to share more with you.

Team Growth and Milestones

Over the last 12 months, we welcomed 4 new team members and saw the progression of 2 talented team members.

  • Allison Lee joined as an Associate, working alongside Bianca Musico, and is currently completing a Master of Financial Planning with her sights set on becoming a Financial Advisor.
  • Tom Lowe and Gabby Cameron joined our Client Services team. Both have aspiration to grow in the profession and are in our Advisor Pathway program.  We are pleased to share of Tom’s progression through the stage 1 of the program.
  • Natasha Bodek returned and took up the role of Head of Operations. Natasha’s journey with us began in 2007, and after 10 years away 2025 the timing was just right for her return.
  • Fiona Paganis was appointed to Client Experience Manager, recognised for her dedication to exceptional client experience and wellbeing.
  • Oliver Cahill was promoted to Financial Advisor after completing his Professional Year. His commitment to the firm's values and passion for growth make him an exceptional advice team member. Oliver works alongside Sam Hunt.

Over the last quarter we recognised and celebrated the following significant team milestones:

  • Janet Hicks: 5 years of service, anchoring our financial operations since May 2020.
  • Zoe Vincent: 10 years of service, progressing from client services to leading technology operations.
  • Marina Warr: 20 years of unwavering support, managing our AFSL compliance and coordinating our annual team retreats.

And in exciting news, last month Zoe welcomed a baby boy into the world. We are so thrilled for Zoe and her partner, and now their daughter now has a little brother to boss around.

We continue to build our culture and an environment where talented people can grow, enjoy spending time together, serve our clients to the highest standard and provide them work-life harmony.

Community Contribution

This year, we continued our commitment to making a difference through our support of:

  • The Big Umbrella – A Melbourne-based organisation dedicated to feeding and supporting people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Our team rolled up our sleeves and got to work in the kitchen, preparing over 150 meals in just 4 hours for those doing it tough in Melbourne.
  • Movember - A leading charity changing the face of men’s health.  Our Movember - Team proudly participated in Movember, raising over $7,500 to support men’s health initiatives, including mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer research.

Awards and Recognition

We are proud to be recognised as a Finalist for Professional Practice of the Year at the 2025 Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) awards – our third consecutive year acknowledged at this level.

The FAAA Awards recognise members who deliver the highest standards of professionalism and trusted advice to Australian consumers, as well as those who have gone above and beyond to support their local community through pro bono and volunteer work. The submission and judging process is rigorous.

Christmas – NewYear Closure

Our office will be closed from Monday 22 December 2025 and reopen at 8:30am on Monday 5 January 2026, giving our team a well-earned 16-day break.

Our phone and email will be monitored during this period, and if any urgent matter arises, you can be assured the appropriate team members will be there to help.

Thank You to Our Clients

Throughout the year, we’ve help many of you through business sales, home upgrades, weddings, new arrivals, sabbaticals and financial independence milestones. We’ve also supported clients through life’s challenges, and it’s during these times that we do our most rewarding work.

Your trust and partnership inspire us every day. It is a privilege to serve you.

On behalf of the WARRHUNT team, we wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a joyful break.   We look forward to sharing a prosperous 2026 with you.

"It’s an absolute privilege to guide our clients in their financial and wealth management, and knowing that we play a part in them living a happy and fulfilling life"
